Opportunistic Core Fixed Income

LM Capital Group’s Opportunistic Core (Core Plus) fixed income portfolios are comprised of Treasuries, agencies, investment-grade corporate issues and mortgage-backed securities. In addition, LM Capital Group opportunistically invests in the following three sectors: US dollar denominated emerging market debt (0 - 20%), US high yield (0 - 10%) and non-US dollar denominated bonds (0 - 10%), with the total allocation to plus sectors never exceeding 30%. The firm has an internal policy which prohibits the use of derivative instruments and structured products.

Core Fixed Income

LM Capital Group's Active Core fixed income portfolios are comprised of Treasuries, agencies, investment-grade corporate issues and mortgage-backed securities. Additionally, the firm has an internal policy which prohibits the use of derivative instruments and structured products.

Since LM Capital Group only manages separate accounts, we determine the sector allocation and quality weightings in accordance with the client’s investment policy.

Intermediate Fixed Income

LM Capital Group’s Intermediate fixed income portfolios generally consist of securities between 5-10 years in maturity and are comprised of Treasuries, agencies, investment-grade corporate issues and mortgage-backed securities. Additionally, the firm has an internal policy which prohibits the use of derivative instruments and structured products.

Enhanced Return

LM Capital's Enhanced Return fixed income portfolios are comprised of Treasuries, agencies, investment-grade corporate issues and mortgage-backed securities. In addition, LM Capital opportunistically invests in the following five sectors: US dollar denominated Emerging Market Debt (0 - 30%), US High Yield (5% - 20%), non-US Dollar denominated bonds (0 - 20%), US Municipals (0% - 10%), Preferred Equity (5% - 15%), with the total allocation to plus sectors never exceeding 65%.
